Watercolor Lodz

The past couple of months I have been involved in a project in Poland, being something as strange and nonsensical as a norwegian guest worker in the polish city of Lodz. I will say no more. Did lots of sketches and watercolors. Here are some of my favourites.

some more charicatures

Pencil and color pencil.

watercolor sketches

St.Stevens in BudapestGot a kick out of listening to the BFG by Roald Dahl. Awsome book. Want to make a movie of it.

Croquis

This croquis session was very interesting. Never drawn a 8 months pregnant model before.

sketches

Some Skythians inspired by Herodotus' histories. Great book! And the best thing is that a lot of it might even be true!

Naked women, always a fav.

Some co-workers and a creature from myth.
This guy is definitively mythical!

Here is some sketches from the last year that I'm happy with, that I want to get out on the web and out of the way.

Torshovkoret choncert posters

This two posters I did for the choir I sing in. The summer one is made to promote two concerts we had in Iceland. The wintery one is for a concert singing Jesu Meine Freude by Bach. It is based partly on paintings done by Caspar David Friedrich.

Personal Work

Pelle Politibil

This is some concepts I did for the animated feature "Pelle Politibil gaar i vannet".
The film was produced by Nordisk Film and Qvisten Animation. The budget for the film was very low, so we could afford to build very few characters. Most of the extras are designed so that they can be built by recombining the main characters. I am happy with how Pelle the Police car and the two villains (the Badger twins) turned out.
